June 19, 2008 - Tornado just to the northeast of Lincoln, NE
I witnessed a brief tornado very close to home today!
I chased WAY TOO close to home today...well that would be about 5 miles from
where I live. Caught an unexpected tornado at about 6:43pm. I was
located near 112th and Fletcher looking north. My guess is that the
tornado touched down between Fletcher and Alvo Rd. just to the west of
112th. I had only left my
apartment ~ 10 minutes before I saw the tornado. I don't think
I want to see a tornado any closer to home than this. By far this
was my shortest storm chase ever!

June 4, 2008 - Southeast Nebraska
Tornadoes
I chased central Nebraska to southeast Nebraska on June 4,
2008. Followed a monster HP supercell towards just north of
Lincoln. The storm ended up catching us just north of Raymond,
NE. Looking at radar while being pounded with hail, there was a very
strong velocity couplet on the storm relative velocity. This couplet
was almost directly over Ceresco, NE. According to the National
Weather Service Valley, NE office, two tornadoes struck Ceresco, NE.

of my relatives live in Ceresco and they took a lot of damage from these
tornadoes.

EF2 Tornado - Kearney, NE May 29, 2008
Wittnessed the Kearney, NE EF2 tornado on May 29, 2008. Also came
across damage just south of Aurora, NE. More videos and pictures
will be posted soon.

Large EF4 Tornado - Quinter, ks May 23, 2008
Caught a large EF4 cone tornado near Quinter, KS May 23, 2008 shortly after
4:30pm. Witnessed a weak short lived tornado close to my location
following the large tornado. I was able to broadcast live video of the large cone tornado on my
website. Was in the thick of it when the storm by Ness City went
bonkers along with the other 200+ chasers. (that was just insane,
nothing like bumper to bumper traffic trying to get away from that storm
as fast as they could, again it was insane - it's difficult to come up
with words to describe the utter chaos) Did you see the live video? More pics and videos will be posted.

5 Tornadoes - Kansas - May 22, 2008
An intense non-stop storm chase...I chased in Kansas around the I-70 area between Oakley, KS and
Wakeeney,
KS on
May 22,
2008 with
Jonathan Garner. Caught
several tornadic supercells moving north/northeast. Observed 5
tornadoes for the day. More pics, videos and chase account will be
posted.
